“To Whom It May Concern:
Jeff Civillico provided entertainment during CCMA’s banquet on the final night our National Convention this year. There were almost three hundred Catholic campus ministers gathered at the end of a very long day, and Jeff’s act followed an assortment of awards and seemingly interminable acceptance speeches. Most of our members would have been content to head to their rooms for a good night’s sleep before Jeff ran out on stage. Yet his dynamic performance grabbed them at once; people hovering in the doorway actually returned to their seats! Our convention evaluations were universally positive in his regard, as our guest enjoyed themselves thoroughly despite the late hour.
Because the audience was exclusively filled with religious professionals working in higher education, it was also important that Jeff be both clean and smart, and he fit the bill in both regards. His on=stage interaction with several of our members had people weeping with laughter, yet he never crossed the line in a way that made anyone uncomfortable. In fact, many people lined up after the show to get Jeff’s card so that they could invite him to their own campuses- the ultimate tribute.
