“Controlled Chaos”

Vegas Player, Fall 2012/Winter 2013, VegasPlayerMagazine.com  Jeff Civillico

Jeff Civillico is Harvard educated. Well, sort of. You see, the “Comedy in Action” star got hooked on his craft while on a family trip to Boston when he was still in grade school. It was there in Harvard Square that Civillico was picked to be a volunteer by a street performer. The experience made him want to become an entertainer.

“I loved the rush of being in front of a big crowd,” Civillico recalls. “When we got home my parents bought me a book on juggling and I taught myself.” Now he jokes, “I don’t even like juggling. I like making people laugh, and juggling is just the medium.”

Civillico’s all-ages, hour-long afternoon show at The Linq Hotel & Casino is high-energy, physical comedy. It’s more than juggling bowling balls and plungers or escaping from a straitjacket while riding a unicycle, it’s interactive improv—vaudeville-style.
