Thanks so much for coming to IUP and being part of our 2009 Family Weekend Celebration! We have received feedback from the student body and from families who visited and your show was a big hit.
I think the Comedy in Action show was a great fit because it focused on performance rather then on topic that may or may not have been universally understood or appreciated. This helped to make the show such a wide appeal to our audience. But it was really your attitude and performance ability that drove the performance “beyond expectations.” Among jugglers, there are a number who can juggle knives. What makes it entertaining is a performer who can no only perform the feat, but who can also weave it into a larger show and use the feat to be funny and engaging. What you did went beyond juggling and magic and help to create an entertaining eveing that was unique and memorable. Confirmation of this was seen in the many faces eager to meet you, have their picture taken with you, or simply get close and confirm that the guy juggling a bowling ball was for-real.
