Inducted into the National Speakers Association Hall of Fame

I recently received the Council of Peers Award for Excellence (CPAE) and was inducted into the National Speakers Association Hall of Fame in front of my family and 1000+ professional speaker friends and colleagues at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando. It’s hard to find words to express how much this award and this evening meant to me…

I was introduced by one of my best friends and heroes in this business Jason Hewlett, and assisted on stage by the hilarious and brilliant Rob Ferre. I got to crack a few jokes, but most important to me… I got to thank my parents publicly for creating the environment for me to find my own voice and become my own person… for navigating the perfect line between “freedom to try” and “safety to fail.” What a gift.

Thank you to Mom, Dad, Eileen, Gene, John, Sonja, my whole family… Debi Kinney, Chris Johnston, my team, Jason, my friends, my colleagues and of course, the National Speakers association. My heart is full!

Congratulations to my fellow CPAE winners: Dr. Delatorro McNeal II, Kristin Arnold, Crystal Washington and Mark LeBlanc. We are the 2023 CPAE Class! 🙂 It’s an honor to share this award with you titans of the industry. And congrats to Dr. Willie Jolley on receiving the Cavett Award. You are an inspiration to so many. National Speakers Association Inducts Jeff Civillico into the Speaker Hall of Fame

LAS VEGAS (July 25, 2023) – In front of family, friends, and more than 1000 professional speaker colleagues at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Jeff Civillico received the Council of Peers Award for Excellence (CPAE), becoming one of the youngest ever to be inducted into the National Speakers Association (NSA) Hall of Fame.

The National Speakers Association is the world’s leading organization for professional speakers. In February 1977, the National Speakers Association established the Council of Peers Award for Excellence “Speaker Hall of Fame” to honor professional speakers who have reached the top echelon of platform excellence and professionalism.

Inductees are evaluated by their peers through a rigorous and demanding process. Each candidate must excel in five categories: message, presentation and delivery, experience, professionalism, and collateral material.

After performing for 10 years as a Headliner with Caesars Entertainment on the Las Vegas Strip, Jeff is now one of the most in-demand host personalities and keynote speakers working today. His “Work That Matters” keynote is a customized, interactive, entertainment-based experience that highlights the inherent value of the individual – personally and professionally – within a team/organization.

During his acceptance speech, Jeff visibly fought back tears while publicly acknowledging his family’s support of his unique professional path from an early age.

“My parents navigated the perfect line between ‘freedom to try’ and ‘safety to fail,’ said Jeff Civillico. “What a gift. To me, that’s the highest form of parental love… creating the environment to find your own voice and become your own person. That’s what they did for me.”

Because of this foundation, Jeff lives his life creating “Work That Matters” and is on a mission to inspire others to do so, as well — through his keynotes and other engagements, as well as through philanthropic ventures.

There are fewer than 300 CPAE inductees to date, with fewer than 100 living members today. With this award, Jeff joins the ranks of Ronald Reagan, General Colin Powell, and Les Brown, among others, in the CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame.

About Jeff Civillico:

From a 10-year-old kid doing shows in the kitchen for his “Gram” to becoming a 3-time “Best of Las Vegas” winner, Jeff Civillico has always had a heart to connect with people. Jeff wants you to leave his shows a little lighter and brighter, taking a ripple of happiness with you as you go. That’s probably the reason he became the youngest Producer/Headliner in Las Vegas and was named Vegas’ “Entertainer of the Year.” Jeff believes in maximizing one’s utility through action, and he lives by example. He consistently creates and develops projects to help others, which as a byproduct gives his life deeper purpose and meaning… including his nonprofit Win Win Charity, his “Cisko Sound” scholarships, and his most recent venture “Laughter without Borders,” a philanthropic travel show.
