I learned today that my attorney/manager Jerry Longarzo lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. Jerry was very special to me.
Jerry believed in me since the moment he and his family happened to see me perform a guest spot during the Nathan Burton Comedy Magic show at The Flamingo many years ago. Jerry took me under his wing and I will forever be grateful for his kindness and guidance. Over the last 10+ years he negotiated my Vegas Residency deals with Caesars Entertainment, helped me navigate TV opportunities, created contract templates for my corporate and private shows… I could go on and on. He provided personal support and professional counsel in this crazy industry that has no roadmap, no blueprint.
Jerry was so brilliant, so generous, so likable. He was an amazing husband to Diana and father to Jack, Luke and Dante. He was a double Georgetown grad (undergrad and law), so we always bonded over our Hoya connection. He was the biggest NY Giants fan you’d ever meet, so there was always some good NFC East trash talk going on too 🙂
He was a mentor. He was a role model. He was a friend. I will miss him so much. Rest in peace, Jerry. Love you, man!
