Win-Win Entertainment recently worked with former NBA player Jerome Williams and his non-profit, JYD P.R.O.J.E.C.T.
Win-Win Entertainment is a non-profit I created to match professional performers with charity events.
I met Jerome Williams through the Georgetown Club of Las Vegas, of which he is a member. After playing for the Georgetown Hoyas (1994-1996), Jerome played in the NBA for 10 seasons across 4 teams. He was a fan favorite because of his work ethic. His tenacity on the court earned him the nickname “The Junkyard Dog” by announcer Rick Mahorn in his early days on the Detroit Pistons.
Jerome Williams not only is a basketball legend, but is well known for helping children around the world. It is with the same determination he was known for on the court, that he created JYD P.R.O.J.E.C.T. off the court. JYD P.R.O.J.E.C.T. supports children’s education projects in Southern Nevada and around the world. They are dedicated to changing the lives of at-risk children, one student at a time. Their vision is to motivate youth to excel academically, sustain a healthy lifestyle, and increase their spiritual faith by working with community partners, educators, and professionals.
Jerome showed interested in Win-Win Entertainment when I told him about the concept many months back. With his “Finish Line Dinner,” held in the Q Theater at South Point Casino, we now had the chance to collaborate. This “Rally For Kids” honored those who have made an impact on children in the Southern Nevada community. I closed out the event with 25 minutes of comedy.
Win-Win Entertainment is proud to support JYD P.R.O.J.E.C.T. and their efforts in the community. Thanks for all you do, Jerome!
