Thank you, 2022 🙂 81 bookings: a nice mix of shows, keynotes and emcee dates (many of which were multi-day events). I’m grateful for a full schedule, wonderful clients and safe travels!
Here are 10 events (in no particular order) that were particularly meaningful to me for one reason or another which I detail below…
#10 Emcee for
FAT Brands Summit at
Wynn Las Vegas
Got to introduce my friend Mel Robbins, along with Gary Vee and Magic Johnson. Great lineup!
#9Â Emcee for
Xylem’s “Reach 22”
in Washington, D.C.
This great, repeat client had rescue puppies to play with during breaks. Need I say more??
#8Â Emcee & Auctioneer for
Children’s Advocacy Center
for North Texas
Helped CACNT raise $1M for their 25th anniversary. Incredible organization doing incredible work. Excited to return next year 🙂
#7 Performing for
“Miracles & Magic”
in Columbus, OH
For many years I’ve wanted to perform in this show, produced by my pal Jon Petz, for kids facing life-threatening illnesses. Made it happen this year!
#6 Emcee for UMC Foundation’s
Inaugural “Evening of Hope” Gala
at Wynn Las Vegas
My nonprofit Win Win Charity’s first children’s hospital program was at UMC, so this was a very special one for me 🙂
#5 Filling for Mac King
at Excalibur Las Vegas
I did 14 shows at Excalibur this year, filling in for Mac. Always fun performing on The Strip! Looking forward to more Excalibur shows in 2023 🙂
#4 Keynote for
Arts School Network
at Las Vegas Academy
As a supporter of arts education, this keynote for arts school educators and administrators was a special one.
#3 “Together We Can
Change the World”
I spent 2.5 incredible weeks speaking and performing in Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia and Thailand for my friend Scott Friedman’s nonprofit “Together We Can Change the World.” It was the trip of a lifetime!
#2 Disney Cruise Line
with the Fam
Performing on Disney Cruise Line was a big part of my professional development back in the day. While I don’t perform on many Disney Cruises anymore (2 this year: Thanksgiving and New Year’s), it was very special to organize this family trip with Mom & Dad and my brother John’s family to see me perform on the Disney Wonder over Thanksgiving!
#1 Win Win Telethon
My nonprofit Win Win Entertainment celebrated 10 years of bringing smiles to children in hospitals nationwide with a 10 hour Zoom telethon.
We rebranded to Win Win Charity.
We revealed our new logo.
We honored magician John Rotellini with our “Entertainer of the Year” award.
We raised $85,000.
It was the perfect ending to 2022!
Happy New Year! See you in 2023 🙂
