“Perfect Cap To a Great Evening!”
“We’d heard about Jeff Civillico’s show from friends, so while we were visiting Las Vegas in January we looked it up. Now, as everyone knows, Vegas is full of great performers and great performances. So much so that some of the best young talent can be easily overlooked. This is the case with Jeff’s show.
Let me set the stage: Jeff is a twenty-something guy with a one-man show at a restaurant inside of Caesar’s Palace hotel/casino. We took advantage of his online coupon which included dinner and the show. After we’d eaten dinner, we went “upstairs” to a very intimate performance venue. And, BOOM, on comes Jeff. For the next thirty minutes or so we alternated between amazement and gut-busting laughter. Jeff’s act is clearly rehearsed in the sense that it is perfectly executed. But, at the same time, it was very spontaneous. Jeff was able to worked with the audience and went wherever the flow of the evening took us all.
It’s been my experience that anyone “playing” Vegas is good. The real trick for those of us who visit is to find the unexpected gems in the city. Jeff’s show is one of those gems.”
