Win-Win Rocks Community and Performer Outreach at Carmine’s Restaurant

What an unbelievable day to remember!

On August 26, 2013, Win-Win Entertainment hosted an outreach event for Las Vegas performers and others in the community at Carmine’s restaurant, recently-opened in The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.

Needless to say, we were wowed by the turnout!

It was an incredible gathering of like-minded individuals committed to contribution in our community. There were so many representatives from a diverse variety of organizations and Las Vegas shows, it was truly heartwarming.

Our speakers included Win-Win Entertainment Board members Jason Gastwirth, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Entertainment for Caesars Entertainment and Charles Beraud (pictured below), Technical Documentalist for Cirque du Soleil’s “Michael Jackson One” at Mandalay Bay.

We were so happy to also hear from Kelley McClellan (pictured below), Director of Development for St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, one of our ongoing Win-Win partners.

It’s hard to adequately describe how great it feels to hear, first-hand, how Win-Win is having a tangible impact on those in need.

Representatives from two other well-known nonprofits were also in the house for our event, Opportunity Village and the American Heart Association.

The roster of entertainers at the luncheon was impressive! They included Felice Garcia of “Million Dollar Quartet” at Harrah’s, Bruce Ewing of “The Phat Pack” at The Plaza, Bobby Black of Las Vegas Tenors, singers Maren Wade and Susan Haller, magician John Castro and impressionist Rich Natole.

These are just some of the people who have helped make Win-Win such a success. Win-Win now has 50 entertainment partners, far more than we ever imagined at this point in the organization’s development.

The list of VIPs and guests at our outreach event is too lengthy to include here, but we want to send out special thanks to Chris Yancey, Director of Entertainment for Venetian / Palazzo, Mark Prows, Vice President of Entertainment for MGM, and Jay Cline, Director of Arena Operations for the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

It’s been a wild ride getting Win-Win Entertainment up and running, but gatherings like our outreach event are a reminder of how far we’ve come, thanks to the generosity of our donors and the Las Vegas entertainment community. Win-Win is becoming a key player in helping Las Vegas charities grow and thrive, and we’re proud of all we’ve done to-date.
